What we collect
- Your contact details — name, WhatsApp/mobile number, optional email, preferred contact method and language.
- Your personalisation details — information about the person the book is for and the story, memories and preferences you choose to share.
- Photos you upload for your book.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
- Basic technical data needed to run the website securely (for example a pseudonymised network identifier used to prevent abuse).
Why we use it
We use this information only to prepare, discuss and deliver the personalised product you request, and to reply to your messages. When you submit an order request you consent to this use.
We will never publish your photos, story, name or testimonial (for example on our Customer Stories page or social media) unless you give us separate, explicit permission for that specific use. You can say no without affecting your order.
How it is stored and who can see it
Your request and photos are stored in private storage. Photos are never placed in public galleries and can only be viewed by authorised members of the CLIO team through time-limited secure links. We do not sell your information.
After you submit a request, you can continue the conversation with us on WhatsApp. Messages you send there are also handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and photos for as long as needed to make and deliver your book and handle any follow-up, after which photos are deleted. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us using the details on our Contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
